Ancient grains

Ancient grains or old cereals are a mixture of red rice, basmati rice, tricolour quinoa, flax seeds and buckwheat. You can use them as a base in salads or paellas, or simply cook them and add a little oil to turn them into a tasty, healthy and very colourful garnish.

Pour the mixture into a saucepan with plenty of water and salt. Bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes. Drain and season to taste.

Suggestions
