Red quinoa

Our Red Quinoa has its origins in Bolivia and Peru. A source of fibre, full of energy and nutritious – the highest in carbohydrates – with a lower fat content and a very intense flavour. You can use it in the same recipes as Royal Quinoa.

Cook the quinoa using 2 parts of water for one part of grain. Add salt, leave it on medium heat for about 20 minutes until the water disappears and the quinoa grain has doubled its volume and released its white germ. It is not necessary to wash the quinoa, as it has been previously washed.
Suggestions
Once cooked, it can be used in a salad, sautéd with vegetables, meat or fish. It can also be added to soups instead of noodles, croquettes, hamburgers… Tell us how you use it. #Trevijano
